Rachel
Psychologist
Rachel Briscoe has twenty plus years of experience as a school psychologist working in Indiana public and private schools. She is also a licensed teacher with classroom knowledge as well as administrative experience. Rachel believes that all children can succeed and a comprehensive evaluation is the most effective process to understand a child’s learning profile in order to navigate any difficulties. This complex procedure entails reviewing one’s social-developmental and emotional functioning, conducting an analysis of the testing results and considering how external factors may be impacting the person. This approach allows her to help children, teens and adults overcome any challenges that are identified and help their parents, teachers, doctors, and therapists that work with them.
Specifically, Rachel conducts psycho-educational evaluations of individuals from ages 3 years old up to adults with concentration in the following areas: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Learning Disabilities (i.e., Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia), and Cognitive Disabilities. She has expertise in Article 7, Indiana’s Special Education Rules, and the thirteen areas of eligibility listed therein.
